I WAS ONLY JOKING! *** REALLY? ARE YOU SURE???

Everybody enjoys a good laugh, because "a merry heart does good like a medicine: but a broken spirit dries up the bones." Proverbs 17:22 However when you are the butt of a put down joke it's never funny, because it breaks your spirit. Millions of people have suffered a life altering broken spirit, because they were the object of laughter for 30 seconds. "Just like a mad man who casts firebrands, arrows, and death at people [19] So is the man that deceives his neighbor, and says, I WAS ONLY JOKING? [20] Where no wood of resentment exists, the fire goes out and the feud is over: so where there is no joking talebearer, the strife ceases."  Proverbs 26:18-20 There is a world of difference between having fun and making fun. Kingdom people do not put down other people and especially making sport to get a laugh!

Many times an unforgiving believer is bitter and seeking to even a score, and not wanting to appear revengeful, they make cutting remarks in front of others, to get a laugh. Just joking, is what the group thinks, but the joker and the victim of the joke both know, it was part of evening a score! If the first joke did not hurt enough, the joker will strike again and again, until the victim leaves the room with a spirit totally broken, by embarrassment, many times damaged for the rest of his or her life. 

Many marriages have been destroyed by joking, with a vengeful motive. Thousands of wives have had their heart cut to shreds, while the husband fills the room with laughter over secrets she trusted him with! As some of you read this, tears are welling up, because those moments are so vividly painful. I know because I was there and I felt your pain. Psalm 34:18 I know full well what it's like to be the but of a joke and laughed at by throngs of people. Matthew 27:31 

More offenses are caused by joking at another persons expense, that any other act. "Woe unto the jokers of the world because of these offenses! No one can prevent offenses; but woe to that man who causes the offense!" Matthew 18:7 Embarrassment is a momentary form of shame that leaves you with a temporary red face, and permanent deep wounds, wounds that you never forget as long as you live. No one knows the sensitive areas of another's soul. Childhood verbal abuse many times leaves people emotionally bruised for a lifetime and a single joke, striking that bruise, just may push one to suicide. 

The next time you want to be the center of attention, before deciding to make people laugh, stop! Ask yourself; Are you sure your only joking? Will what you are about to say, hurt anyone? If there is the slightest chance it will be at someone else's expense, while your still deciding, think of this; "whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in Me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea." Mark 9:42  CANCEL IT! It's foolish spirit breaking talk! Ephesians 5:4 It's not worth it, because you won't hear their laughter underwater!

In America, blessing the food is rare and when it is done, it is useless, and meaningless for the most part. Five second prayers become a joke, recited with no thought of Me or the food. People thinking of their belly more than Me, have replaced longer meaningful heartfelt thankful prayers with mumbling, "bless this food in Jesus name amen". 

Along with food, consider your business, your job, your family, and your finances, seldom is any thought given to serious prayer over these things. Why? Because for decades Americans in general have lived in such luxury, everything is taken for granted. Do you know how many car accidents could have been prevented with a heartfelt prayer for protection, before starting the engine! Just going to the store, huh? The majority of auto wrecks occur 5 minutes from the victims home?

In 2015 things are going to start to change. Prayer will soon no longer be an option, if your whole family is going to eat. Blessing the meal will not muttered at high speed so you can gobble down your food! It will be a super sincere prayer, requiring a strong faith to multiply a few measly morsels  into a banquet so your family will not starve. "Are you able to command a multitude to sit down, and then take five loaves, and two fish, and look up to heaven, and bless it, and brake them, and feed the multitude."? Matthew 14:19 What about just your hungry family? When there are no jobs, or building projects, prayer meetings will be the most well attended services. Sincere prayers of faith are in abundance in eastern nations where believers are considered felons. 

Those of you that have been seeing Me as your source during the times of American luxury, are going to have no problem in the tough times. Those of you that have been seeing your employer or the government, or your 401K as your source will starve, unless you happen to live with a heavenly source person. Kingdom people do not live in luxury, they live in abundance, "always giving, and having it given back to them; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, by men continually pouring it back. In the same percentage and attitude that they give to others, the same measure will be used by men to measure to them again." Luke 6:38

May I suggest while there is still food available, you repent or your sick prayer habits, and start realizing your job, your business, your 401k, and your bank account, have always had their source in heaven. The days of western luxury must come to a close in order for My kingdom to come, because I am the head of the body, the source of everything the church needs: I am the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; and in all things I must have the preeminence for you, the church, to overcome!" Colossians 1:18 What will your table look like when famine hits?

GOD KILLING CANCER

Physical cancer is an enemy of the whole human race, but many have been miraculously healed by the power of God as My Father has complete authority over it. However there is another cancer that kills God, by that I mean, the God in you. CS cancer is so deadly that eats away your inner man so quickly that many never realize it, until it's too late. The problem with CS cancer is that it kills other people even before it kills the original patience. CS cancer is so contagious it can spread to 50 plus people in a single day from a single person. It spreads so fast that many never have time to get to the antidote, before it eats the God out of them! 

The greatest cause of CS cancer is personal agendas, causing a person to usurp spiritual authority while appearing to support it, with spiritual talk. CS cancer weakens your spiritual immune system by first attacking My joy in you, because My joy is your strength." Nehemiah 8:10 Then it attacks the faith of God in you. 1 John 5:4 Finally the call of God in you is attacked. Romans 8:30 Then when you are no longer fulfilling the call I have placed in your life, your vision dies, and without a vision you parish. Proverbs 29:18 The rest of your life is spent deliberately spreading CS cancer to further your own agenda, while unknowingly killing the vision I have given others, causing them to parish! Matthew 18:6 

You can recognize those who are cancer ridden by listening to their conversation. If they are criticizing spiritual authority, you must instantly use the sword of the Spirit, by applying the truth of My word.  The best remedy is a sharp rebuke, because "there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers: [11] Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole godly households, teaching things which they ought not, for their own agenda's sake. [13] Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;" Titus 1:13 If you cannot rebuke them at least flee beyond earshot before the cancer can touch your inner man! 

However here's the good news, as long as there is still breath, nothing is final in the kingdom! The antidote is repentance. CS Cancer is totally curable, it takes only one dose of repentance, with a gentle washing of My word, and you will be cancer free! Do a self diagnoses today, and see if you might have developed CS cancer somewhere along your faith walk. Repent, (change your thinking) and and let Me wash the rotted areas away with the water of My word.  WHAT IS CS CANCER? CRITICAL SPIRIT CANCER! 

Ask yourself, am I cancer free? 2 Corinthians 13:5 Check every single area of your soul, mind, will and your emotions, don't miss any area! Look for any negative feelings, thoughts or attitudes, about anyone in My body, especially spiritual authority. If you find any signs, do not go into denial, it's cancer! Apply repentance immediately, wash clean with My word, come to Me, your high priest, and I will declare you clean! Luke 17:13-14

THE POWER OF FAILURE

To fail in an attempt is good. To fail to attempt is bad! Failing with the right mindset will empower you to a greater degree on the second attempt. You can triple the power on the third attempt, if you can combine the right motive with the right mindset. The right mindset is: it can be done, it must be done and it will be done! The right motive is: it must always benefit others. 1 Kings 3:11-13  Remember, "If you love only them which love you back, what's the big deal? sinners also love those that love them back. [33] And if you do good to them which do good to you, what's so special about that? sinners also do the same thing. [34] And if you lend to them of whom in hopes to receive it back, sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again, isn't that just good business? " Luke 6:32-34

When kingdom people fail, it brings a greater bond between them and Me, because they realize the God factor must be lacking. I never fail, so if I am authoring the task at hand, I will certainly empower you to accomplish it. The failure happens when your confidence in the flesh, forces Me out of the equation. Excitement, enthusiasm, and experience must always be controlled and submitted to Me or they will push your confidence, in the flesh to a pride level, and pride goes before destruction, and an haughty spirit right before a failure." Proverbs 16:18

So if you failed today, just get alone with Me and talk with Me about it. My Holy Spirit will comfort you and instruct you by helping you check your motives, and rearranging your mindset. He will cause you to check to see who authored the task, and if your heart is pure, you will see Me in the middle of your failure. Somewhere I was left out, because I never fail! Make every failure work for you, by running to Me with it. Soon you will learn to walk in the Spirit and avoid failures! When you  "walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh." Galatians 5:16
