CAN YOU STILL FOCUS?
Your greatest spiritual challenge is your ability to
stay focused on your purpose no matter what is thrown at you. The cost of focus
at times will seem almost to hard to bear. Opportunity after opportunity and
person after person may have to be ignored. Sickness, lack, grief, let downs,
betrayals, and lies may all be thrown at you at once with no mercy! But will it
be enough to make you loose focus. Once you loose focus of your purpose, you are
neutralized, as far as the devil is concerned. "You are the salt of the earth:
but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is good
for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men." Matthew
5:13 KJV
Trouble on every hand, and no one seems to care because each has
his own trouble. Where do you go to stay focused or will everyone be
neutralized. The key word is intimacy. Intimacy between you and I. This is the
only place of power that will grip your heart so strong and keep it in alignment
with My purpose. The spiritual security that results from My voice in our times
alone, will become a shield around your heart. You see faith, comes by hearing
My voice, Romans 10:17 and it is the shield of faith that puts out all the fiery
darts being thrown from every direction. Ephesians 6:16
Combining
everyday pressure, plus, constant demands, plus daily disagreements, plus
physical aches and pain, plus emotional pain, plus betrayals, thoughts of deaths
and divorce, ending in complete exhaustion, will cause everyone to loose focus.
However intimacy, will overpower all of them. "When the enemy comes in like a
flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him." Isaiah
59:19 Each person must have an individual desire strong enough to push past all
these daily distractions and seek Me! How desperate to see My kingdom come, are
you?
How bad do you want to see your kids and grandkids, in My kingdom?
Your spouse? Your co workers? Your friends and neighbors? If you have been
neutralized you will push them toward the kingdom of darkness! Always make our
intimacy your top priority, and watch My kingdom come in their lives as well as
yours!
