IS YOUR BODY MESSING UP YOUR FUTURE?

Every moment you allow your body to control your emotions and actions it steals from your eternal treasure. Feelings are a great part of the physical life on earth. Your spirit does not operate on feelings, but operates under the influence of inspiration. Spirit life finds it's source of energy coming from My throne it a spiritual "river whose waters give life, sparkling like crystal, flowing out from the throne of God and of Me the Lamb" Revelation 22:1 AMP 

When the river enters your spirit one of two things happen, it is either polluted by the flesh or if the flesh is dead it continues to  "flow from your innermost being as continuously springs and rivers of living water to a lost world." John 7:38 AMP This throne water is the fountain of youth causing the spirit to never tire, or grow weary. Now the trick is to teach your physical body to drink of this spirit water, and "if the same living water that flows from the throne of My Father, who raised Me up from the dead, saturates your spirit man, it will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies as it flows out of your belly.[12] So then, wouldn't it be smart, to not be obligated to your carnal nature, to live a life ruled by the standards set up by the dictates of the flesh." Romans 8:11-12 AMP

Every time the flesh says, " I don't feel like it", you are shortening your life span and missing out on some eternal rewards. When you obey your bodily feelings, your body is overruling your spirit and the river is stopped. Don't be foolish, "if you live according to the dictates of the flesh, and stop the river if life, you will surely die before your time, and friends and family may die too. But if through the power of the Holy Spirit you are habitually putting to death (making extinct, deadening) saying NO to the evil deeds prompted by the body, you shall really and genuinely live forever." Romans 8:13 AMP

Now lets talk plain, if your body begins to crave anything that is outside the realm of holiness, such as sex outside of marriage, or any chemically produced artificial high, saying, NO! is only the first step. At the same time you must "flee and run from youthful lusts and I mean physically flee from them. Then you must aim at and pursue righteousness (all that is virtuous and good, right living, conformity to the will of God in thought, word, and deed); and aim at and pursue faith, love, and peace (harmony and concord with others) in fellowship with all Christians, who call upon the Lord out of a pure heart." 2 Timothy 2:22 AMP

Just as if you were "a boxer buffet your body handle it roughly, discipline it by hardships and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, you yourself might become unfit, not stand the test, and be unapproved and rejected as a counterfeit." 1 Corinthians 9:27 AMP Today and from now on consider your body "the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which is a gift from Me, you are no longer your own. [20] For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body at all times, and in your spirit also, because both belong to Me." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV

When you no longer allow you bodily feelings to dictate your actions, but force it to obey your spirit which is inspired and energized by the power that flows from My throne, you can call yourself a kingdom person. Will you be a kingdom person today?
