RELIGIOUS ADDICTION, THE SPIRITUAL KILLER
The cure for this addiction is
extremely slow and painful in most cases. The addicting ingredient is false
doctrine. This addiction is easily identifiable and usually ends in early death.
Some hard core addicts will spiritually slaughter hundreds and even thousands of
unwilling to convert, souls. Addiction starts soon after joining a clique,
commonly known as a denomination, a place where one receives heavy doses of
indoctrination. In a short period of time, every believer outside of the clique
appears to be in error.
All who do not agree with their doctrine are
treated as unbelievers and eventually considered the enemy. There are "six
things that I hate: and, the seventh is an abomination to Me: [17] A proud look,
a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, [18] An heart that deviseth
wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, [19] A false
witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren." Proverbs
6:16-19 (KJV) Addiction to doctrine has fostered all all of them at one time or
another.
The worlds meanest and coldest people are those who are
addicted to a doctrine. When I refer to doctrine I am not referring to My word,
but man's interpretation of My word. Whenever human intellect interprets My word
a false doctrine is in embryo stage, because "the natural man receiveth not the
things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he
know them , because they are spiritually discerned (revealed through
relationship)." 1 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV) My Spirit is the only one equipped to
interpret My word because "all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto
all good works." 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (KJV)
My Spirit will only speak out of
a relationship.
You have probably read that ... "the letter killeth, but the
spirit giveth life." 2 Corinthians 3:6 (KJV) The letter can only kill when
relationship is missing. Your relationship with Me will not let you stray from
My love, but when love is removed from doctrine it becomes a letter turned
killer. Your time alone with Me is so very important, not just for you to feel
good or get to heaven, but it keeps you from becoming spiritual killer. Never
sit under a teacher or preacher that does not walk in unconditional love,
because they are incapable of avoiding false doctrine. They will invariably be
forced to use their intellect to teach with and you will be indoctrinated by
"deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons teach," 1 Timothy 4:1
(AMP)
You will know an evil spirit is teaching the moment and attitude of
spiritual superiority appears, with the suggestion that everyone is ignorant
except those that agree with their doctrine. Even if the doctrine is accurate
and the teacher knows Greek and Hebrew and ... "possesses all knowledge, but
does not have unconditional love, he is nothing (a useless nobody). 1
Corinthians 13:2 (AMP) Do yourself a favor and excuse yourself from his class.
I am never pleased when there is a church building on every corner in
town, it's not a sign that the town is spiritual, but a religious town filled
with many different doctrines. In most cases the buildings have been built, each
on a different false doctrine. All doctrine without love is a false doctrine,
because love is the penetrating power of spiritual life. Remember You are the
salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour (penetrating power),
wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast
out, and to be trodden under foot of men." Matthew 5:13 (KJV)
Now this
may surprise you, but even a false doctrine in the presence of agape love will
correct itself because of relationship. The teacher may not have his doctrine
100 % accurate but if he has a real relationship with Me, the doctrine will
supernaturally become accurate, because he is willing to lay it aside for the
kingdom sake. The teacher that has a relationship with me will teach his
students "above all things to have intense and unfailing love for one another,
because (He knows) love covers a multitude of sins forgives and disregards the
offenses of others." 1 Peter 4:8 (AMP)
Do not fear that people will lose
direction and not know what they believe, because love bears all things,
believes (the best in) all things, hopes all things, endures (out lasts) all
things. [8](but in the end) love never fails: if there be prophecies, they shall
fail; if there be tongues, they shall cease; if there be knowledge, it shall
vanish away."1 Corinthians 13:7-8 (KJV)
If you maintain a close personal
walk with Me you will be filled with My unconditional love and I will "See to it
that no one carries you off as spoil or makes you yourselves captive by his
so-called philosophy and intellectualism and vain deceit (idle fancies and plain
nonsense), following human tradition (men''s ideas of the material rather than
the spiritual world), just crude notions following the rudimentary and elemental
teachings of the universe and disregarding the teachings of Christ (the
Messiah)." Colossians 2:8 (AMP)
Always remember; "I have other sheep
beside (you) that are not of this fold. I must bring and impel them also; and
they will listen to My voice and heed My call, and so there will be they will
become one flock under one Shepherd." John 10:16 (AMP) So just stay close to Me
and My love will keep you in My purpose.

The heart of God well written!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing-- the spirit of error is so great at blinding the people of God!
Each born again believer must be true to self and God--
Church gathering places should be training grounds in the Word of God (2 Timothy 3;16)and spiritaul recovery hospitals (confess your sins on to another James 5:16)for those wounded in the war against Satan (Ephesians 6) and for the equipping of an army against him and his tactics -- but most of all a house of Prayer (Matthew 18:20) and a place we believers in Christ can come togeher to worship God in Spirit and in truth.
God bless you!
