THE TWO WORST ASSUMPTIONS!

THE TWO WORST ASSUMPTIONS!

Counterfeit faith is assumption, because it has no creative source to believe in. Faith is aimed at a source and believes that the source will not fail. Assumption takes for granted that something will just happen because it has before and it will again with no explanation. It's just expected. You can assume the worst or the best and there is a 50/50 chance your assumption will be accurate either way. Assumption might but faith will.

The first worst assumption made by all mankind, including believers; you assume you are going to wake up tomorrow.
"Yet you do not know the least thing about what may happen tomorrow. What is the nature of your life? You are really but a wisp of vapor (a puff of smoke, a mist) that is visible for a little while and then disappears into thin air." James 4:14 (AMP) More people die in bed than any other place on earth. You are careful driving, crossing the street, in the work place, and you say extra prayers when you fly, but the place where 9 out of 10 people die, you just assume.

This assumption leads you to spiritual procrastination. The continual putting off of the old man. That one more day of feel good sin. "I'll quit tomorrow", "today is the last day", "this is the last time" are the most often spoken lies on planet earth. They all assume tomorrow. The best and safest assumption you can make is, today is my last day here on earth. Tomorrow I will stand before heavens gates with all my spiritual baggage, gold, silver, precious gems, wood, hay, and stubble. Ready or not my ..."work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try (my) work of what sort it is." 1 Corinthians 3:13 (KJV)

This leads us to the second yet still worst assumption; that you are going to ever enter those gates. Assuming because you are a good person you will enter is wrong, because you won't, that's a guarantee. ..."I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God." John 3:3 (AMP)

Assuming because you simply repeated a prayer after someone, will guarantee admission to the kingdom is wrong.
It's a two fold process, ... "you (must) acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord AND AND AND in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, then you will be saved." Romans 10:9 (AMP) Confession means nothing, without the believing. You are asking, How do you know if you believe or not? Simply look behind you, " do you see the signs"?

These attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; [18] They will pick up serpents; and even if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well." Mark 16:17-18 (AMP)

Assuming you are born-again is the deadly assumption that puts your eternal destiny in jeopardy. Lay all of life's matters aside, until you are sure, this is a faith fact and no longer an assumption. "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."1 John 5:13 (KJV)

Never assume when it comes to eternal matters! You may be in the wrong 50% for eternity. Check your signs, and the fruits of your life. Your soul depends on it!!!
