THE SIN OF ENTERTAINMENT
The word entertainment itself spells, waste. Everyone uses entertainment to
kill time in one fashion or another. The entertainment industry is vast and
world wide and indicates that humans have a lot of time to waste. Nothing could
be further from the truth! One hundred years is 1/10th of one day or equal to
two hours an six minutes in the kingdom. The enemy is a thief stealing
continually from humans, John 10:10 and as the father of lies, he's lying
continually by telling you, you have plenty of time! He's stealing the only
thing you have on earth, time!
You actually own nothing, you are only using it for a time. Your car, your
home, your business, are all on loan to you for two hours and six minutes,
kingdom time. How you use them, after you are born again, determines your
reward! The thief knows he does not need to steal your money, because you can
just go out and make more. If he burns down your house, you can build another,
if he wrecks your car, you can buy another. His time is short also, so he will
concentrate on the one thing you cannot replace, time!
By causing you to loose, misplace or forget things, is one way he steals
your precious time, but believers just brush it off as a fact of life. The truth
is you can ask Me where things are, and I can show you, saving you hundreds of
hours of searching and replacing. Stop putting Me in a time frame to talk too. I
want to converse with you all day, every day! The entertainer is most innocent
of all tools of the enemy, used to steal your most valuable possession, time!
Now don't think I am saying all entertainers are evil, they are not! Just as all
productions, and movies and media are not entertainment, either. Some are tools
for My use, but they all work to change lives, not entertain! While they may be
enjoyable, they are working to bring you to a new awareness of some state of
being that needs to advance, change or be eliminated from your life!
Most western church services are seeker friendly and have now become
entertainment! The presenting of powerful kingdom truth with no change equals
entertainment! If a life changing truth was presented to you and you did not
change to align with the truth, you were just entertained and more time was
stolen from you. "If
any man be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding
his natural face in a mirror: [24] For he beholds himself, and goeth his way,
and immediately forgets what he looked like. [25] But whoso looks into My
perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein , he being not a forgetful
hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be changed and blessed in his
deeds." James 1:23-25 KJV Stop wasting your time, from an eternal perspective
you have less than two hours to work with!
